This full-time, onsite position in Norfolk, VA focuses on providing specialized speech-language support within an elementary school environment. The role is ideal for professionals holding a valid Virginia license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), who are passionate about fostering communication development in young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to assess and address students communication needs.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each childs progress and goals.
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines.
- Participate in meetings and professional development sessions to stay current on best practices.
Qualifications:
- Valid VA SLP or SLPA license required.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
