Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for an onsite position in an elementary school setting in Norfolk, VA. This contract role offers a meaningful opportunity to support students' communication development within a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies

Qualifications:

  • Valid Virginia license as an SLP or SLPA
  • Experience working in school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
