Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment providing Speech-Language Pathology services to students for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity is based near Brainerd, MN, and requires dedication to helping students develop vital communication skills in a supportive educational environment. Two positions are open for passionate, skilled SLPs looking to make a positive impact.

What were looking for:

  • Valid Minnesota Department of Education SLP license (required)
  • Accepting SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and SLPs experienced in school-based settings
  • Proven ability to develop and implement treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Commitment to collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Prior experience in a school environment is preferred, but strong new graduates are welcome

What youll do:

  • Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Document progress and maintain required records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Attend IEP meetings and collaborate closely with educators and families to foster student success
  • Consult with teaching staff and provide strategies for classroom success
  • Serve as a resource to parents and colleagues regarding communication development
