Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active California SLP license or CA CTC credential required
- Experience or interest in K-12 school populations
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or relevant pediatric/healthcare background encouraged
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services for K-12 students at assigned school sites
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Consult regularly with school staff and families to support student IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary collaboration
- Adapt therapy approaches to accommodate diverse student backgrounds
