- Assessing and evaluating students to establish individual speech and language needs
- Developing and implementing therapeutic treatment plans focused on both short- and long-term goals
- Delivering direct therapy services tailored to pediatric populations
- Participating actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with state and district guidelines
- Serving as a resource for school staff regarding communication strategies
Qualifications and experience:
- Active South Carolina SLP licensure and teaching certification required at start
- SLP-CCC credential; CFY candidates with strong pediatric/school backgrounds may be considered
- Experience with elementary-aged caseloads preferred
- Skilled in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and providing evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills essential
