Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available in Cassopolis, MI, serving a K-12 school setting. This contract role begins in April and extends through the end of the school year, with the possibility of continuing during the summer for Extended School Year (ESY) services. The caseload will consist of approximately 55 students, including those who are emotionally impaired, moderately cognitively impaired, and severely impaired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy to diverse student populations including emotionally impaired, moderately cognitively impaired, and severely impaired students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students educational goals.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Experience in school-based speech therapy.
  • Familiarity with working across a range of student needs from mild to severe impairments.
