• Valid Kentucky (KY) Speech-Language Pathology licensure required
• Previous experience working in a school environment encouraged, but not mandatory
• Solid understanding of communication, speech, and language interventions for children and adolescents
• Strong collaboration skills with teachers, counselors, and parents
• Flexible approach to working across multiple grade levels as assigned

Primary responsibilities and day-to-day duties:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with speech or language difficulties
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy to students individually and in group settings
• Provide consultative services and support to educational staff regarding classroom modifications and strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation for therapy sessions and student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Stay up to date with best practices in school-based speech-language therapy
