A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a school setting in Niagara Falls, NY. This role involves providing speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders. Position requires travel between school locations within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on students needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff members
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification or license
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to travel between schools within the assigned area
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage caseload effectively
Location: Niagara Falls, NY Travel is required between school sites.
