Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current New York state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY applicants considered
- Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and therapy documentation
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a range of communication needs
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student strengths and areas for growth
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students educational goals
- Monitor, document, and report student progress in compliance with state and school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development as required
