Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a collaborative and supportive educational environment near Niagara Falls, NY, where youll work closely with students, educators, and families to create individualized treatment plans and provide engaging therapy sessions.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current license to practice as an SLP in New York State
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services one-on-one and in group settings
- Monitor student progress, document session outcomes, and maintain accurate records
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding strategies for communication success in the classroom
- Support and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff trainings as needed
