A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services within educational settings. This role involves traveling to various schools in the Newton, Kansas area, delivering speech therapy to students with diverse communication needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
- Monitor student performance and adjust therapy approaches as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure or certification as an SLP in the relevant state.
- Experience working with school-aged children in a clinical or educational setting.
