Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students from PreK through 8th grade for the full academic year. Beginning in August and continuing through May, this full-time position allows you to make a real difference in the lives of children in a supportive educational setting.
Candidates with experience in school-based and pediatric speech-language pathology, as well as those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), will find this role both challenging and fulfilling. As a valued member of a dedicated team, youll collaborate with educators and families to help each student reach their communication potential.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP credential and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
- Knowledge of IEP processes, progress reporting, and Medicaid billing (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt support strategies to diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed documentation and track student progress
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
