Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure (or eligibility) for the state
- Previous experience with pediatric populations, particularly in school environments
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation abilities
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and progress reports
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting, both individually and in groups
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and determine eligibility for services
- Develop and update students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with teachers, other therapists, and administrators to ensure coordinated support
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and session documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in meetings with parents, caregivers, and faculty as needed
