Qualifications:
- Current and active NJ licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Experience within school-based settings is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the unique language and communication needs of elementary, middle, and high school students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work independently while managing a diverse caseload
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students speech, language, and communication abilities, conducting thorough assessments as required
- Develop and implement effective IEP goals and treatment plans tailored to individual needs across grade levels
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, to foster student progress and achievement
- Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom strategies and accommodations related to communication challenges
- Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the collaborative development of educational plans
