Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students communication growth for the 2026 fall semester. Contract roles are available for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists ready to make a difference at the elementary level with populations that include high numbers of students with Autism and preschoolers in K-5th grades.
This onsite role spans approximately 12 weeks starting September, with 35+ hours per week. Three full-time positions are open, including two specifically at elementary schools with a strong focus on Autism programming and early childhood speech needs, and one placement to be determined.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid NJ Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Current NJ Speech-Language Specialist (SLS) certification
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) strongly favored
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply if outside supervision is arranged (district supervision not available)
- Experience or strong interest in working with Autism and early childhood populations
- SLPAs will not be considered
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostics, treatment, and ongoing support for students with speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster positive student outcomes
- Develop and implement IEPs, maintain detailed progress documentation, and participate in team meetings
- Provide speech services primarily for elementary-age students with Autism and preschoolers, adapting strategies to meet various communication needs
