This contract opportunity offers three full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) positions supporting students in elementary and preschool settings in Newark, NJ, starting in September 2026 for 12 weeks. These roles require a minimum commitment of 35+ hours per week and are ideal for licensed professionals passionate about making a meaningful difference in school-based therapy.
Positions Available:
- Two elementary school roles supporting K-5 students, including those with a high Autism population and preschool programs.
- One additional school-based position to be determined, all requiring onsite presence.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New Jersey SLP license and NJ SLS certification required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; however, Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome with outside supervision arrangements (district supervision is not provided).
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings, especially those with Autism spectrum disorders, is highly valued.
- SLP assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible for these roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in ongoing professional development.
Location: Onsite positions in Newark, NJ.
