Step into a rewarding onsite opportunity near vibrant New York, NY, as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist supporting students growth and communication skills. This contract role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about making a positive difference, working 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, with a manageable caseload to foster quality interactions.
Youll deliver 10 structured sessions daily, with one hour reserved for planning and documentation, ensuring you have the time needed to provide exceptional service while maintaining work-life balance. Your expertise will be highly valued in helping students overcome communication challenges in a dynamic school environment.
Qualifications:
- Active NY SLP License required
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university/college
- TSSLD/TSHH certification
- SLP-CCC credential
- Previous school-based experience preferred, with strong foundational knowledge of pediatric and adolescent communication disorders
What Youll Do:
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy for students
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and session outcomes
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized educational planning
- Design engaging, individualized treatment plans to address each students unique needs
