A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting located in New York, NY. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology looking to make a meaningful impact on students communication development.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Experience providing speech-language evaluations, therapy, and consultation in school environments
• Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school-based intervention strategies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for school-aged children
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, articulation, and fluency goals
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy approaches accordingly
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development sessions
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
