Job Description

A K-12 school in New York, NY is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). This opportunity is ideal for a licensed SLP holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is passionate about supporting students communication development in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech and language concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in educational settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and families.
