Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) for the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to tailor therapy plans to individual student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students of varied ages and abilities
- Develop and implement effective treatment and intervention strategies
- Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions
- Craft and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
- Document progress, maintain records, and communicate findings and updates with families and faculty
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and professional development opportunities
- Serve as a resource for teachers and consult on classroom strategies
