A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in New Port Richey, FL, near Tampa. This contract position is ideal for licensed professionals seeking experience in a school setting, with an option to work with pediatric populations and teletherapy services.
Qualified candidates must hold a valid Florida SLP license. While pediatric experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, making this an excellent role for those looking to build or expand their skills working with children in educational environments. This position also welcomes Speech-Language Pathologists currently in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions in a school setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress
- Utilize teletherapy techniques when applicable
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Florida SLP license

- Experience or interest in pediatrics and teletherapy preferred
