Looking for a dynamic opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Pennsylvania? This contract position offers a rewarding chance to make a meaningful difference in K-12 student communication while gaining valuable school-based experience. You'll work onsite across multiple locations within the district, collaborating with educators and families to support student success and growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP certification and teaching certificate required (must be included with your resume)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Ability to work onsite at multiple district locations (virtual work is not available for this role)
- Experience with a K-12 student population preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Demonstrated commitment to improving student outcomes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, create therapy plans, and monitor student progress
- Consult with classroom teachers, staff, and families to integrate strategies into daily routines
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning
- Manage a diverse caseload across school sites within the district
This contract position runs from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a 35-hour workweek. This is a district-wide, onsite role, offering a consistent schedule for the academic year and an engaging, collaborative school community.
