Step into a rewarding, school-based role as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Adams County, supporting preschool-aged learners with special education needs. This contract position focuses on providing direct services to students between 3 and 5 years old across the New Oxford and Gettysburg areas. In this role, you will work on-site within a preschool program for 188 days per year, following a specialized preschool stretch calendar. Your workday runs from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm (35 hours weekly, with no overtime), allowing time for both direct therapy and the administrative aspects of high-quality care. To ensure your effectiveness, you will have time each week dedicated solely to paperwork and preparation.

What youll need to succeed:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Pennsylvania SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
• Experience or strong interest in working with preschoolers and special education populations
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Strong organizational and time management skills for an itinerant schedule

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to preschool students with special needs in classroom and itinerant settings
• Complete evaluations, progress reports, and maintain compliance documentation
• Partner with teachers and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Utilize provided technology and resources, including a laptop, iPad, lesson pix subscription, materials, and testing kits
