Youll work onsite with a manageable caseload of 50-60 elementary students during a maternity leave assignment, collaborating with talented teams and learning from a variety of leadership styles. Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent
- Current, valid Louisiana SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; new Clinical Fellows also welcome
- School-based and pediatric caseload experience a plus
- Ability to work onsite full-time (37.5 hrs/week)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, treatment, and progress reporting for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation
- Foster positive student engagement and communication growth
