Job Description

Make a meaningful impact on students' lives as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment near New Orleans. This is an onsite role for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering an engaging and supportive setting where you will collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to help students reach their communication goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required)
  • Eligible for or hold active Louisiana state licensure
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Willingness and ability to complete a district drug screen and fingerprinting, and satisfy all credentialing requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across a range of ages and grade levels (specific caseload and school(s) to be determined)
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students academic and social success
  • Maintain necessary documentation and ensure compliance with all district and state regulations
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and contribute to a positive learning environment

This full-time position (35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar) provides the rewarding opportunity to help students achieve their highest potential in communication and learning.
