This contract opportunity allows you to work closely with pediatric populations in a supportive educational setting near vibrant New Haven, CT. Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations in schools strongly preferred
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop goals, and implement tailored therapy plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students across a variety of grades
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and utilize data to inform treatment planning
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation of progress, following school and regulatory guidelines
- Engage with families and caregivers to support students communication development
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing collaboration with teaching staff
