Desired Background and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or clinical fellowship eligibility
- Experience in pediatric or school-based speech therapy preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Familiarity with IEPs and collaborative practices in educational teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students speech, language, and communication strengths and needs
- Develop and implement targeted therapy interventions for students aged preschool through high school
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Educate school staff and families about supporting speech-language development
