Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the vibrant Bridgeport, CT area. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week, providing support and intervention to students across a broad range of ages and abilities. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with educators and families, ensuring students reach their full communication potential.

To excel in this role, you should bring:

  • Active SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with K-12 caseloads in school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and deliver therapy services in accordance with state and federal guidelines

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Creating and executing individualized treatment plans for students in kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Completing required documentation in a timely and thorough manner
