Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP state license in Connecticut (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans for diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Offer support and strategies to classroom teachers and families for effective carryover of skills
