Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide itinerant services across multiple school sites in New Haven, CT. This contract position focuses on supporting students from PreK through 4th and 8th grade with onsite service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, evaluation, and therapy services to students with speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and school policies.
  • Travel between assigned school locations within the district.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut SLP licensure is required.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of speech and language disorders impacting PreK-8 students.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage caseloads across multiple locations efficiently.
