This contract position centers on serving elementary students who benefit from your expertise as an SLP, primarily within a dedicated special education cooperative. Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Current state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure).
- School-based SLP experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a focused elementary caseload of approximately 83 students.
- Assess, develop, and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student progress.
- Provide direct therapy, conduct assessments, and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school guidelines.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment, supporting students social and academic development.
