This contract opportunity offers flexibility for both full-time and part-time schedules, with a 37.5-hour workweek available and a dynamic caseload that includes both traditional school-based students and those requiring services at home. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware SLP license (required for consideration)
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience working in a K12 school setting preferred
  • Comfort providing services both onsite and in homebound settings
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students in a school environment as well as to a limited number of medically homebound students
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans according to students unique needs
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all therapy activities and progress for compliance
  • Work with educators, families, and support staff to implement effective intervention strategies
  • Travel as needed within the district to provide homebound services (site and caseload details will be confirmed prior to assignment)
  • Adjust interventions and approaches year-round to best suit fluctuating caseloads

This contract position is set to begin August 25, 2026, through June 8, 2027. Schedules run Monday through Friday, with the possibility for part-time arrangements if desired. Enjoy the rewards of making a direct impact on student growth across both school and homebound settings.
