Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position provides the opportunity to work closely with a single school near New Castle, DE, supporting students growth and communication skills in a rewarding educational environment.

Your expertise in school-based or healthcare SLP/SLPA roles, including teletherapy and CFY experience, will ensure effective assessments and interventions. Collaborate with educators and families to empower students to reach their fullest potential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or valid certification for SLP/SLPA
  • Eligibility or possession of DE SLP or SLPA licensure
  • Background in school-based speech services; teletherapy experience welcomed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently and efficiently

What Youll Do:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy to students per IEPs
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
  • Develop, implement, and adapt individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families for student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and trainings
  • Provide teletherapy services as needed
