This contract position offers full-time hours37.5 per weekserving a dynamic school community throughout the summer term. You'll collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing direct and consultative speech-language services to help students reach their full potential.
Ideal candidates will bring expertise in school-based speech therapy interventions, as well as a genuine passion for fostering student achievement. This is an excellent chance to apply your clinical skills in a collaborative and engaging school environment for the summer session.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Current Delaware SLP CCC license required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred but not required
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Flexible, positive attitude and strong team spirit
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in various grade levels during summer school
- Conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, progress monitoring, and maintaining necessary documentation
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to support students' academic and social communication goals
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to IEP process as needed
- Engaging with families and caregivers to ensure holistic support for each student
