Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving schools near New Castle, DE. This full-time position allows you to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills, collaborating with educators and families to ensure every child receives the support they need.
This role is designed for professionals seeking a consistent schedule, with a 37.5-hour workweek from August 25, 2026, through November 13, 2026. As an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, you'll assess and develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapy sessions, and help support students in achieving their academic and personal best.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Delaware license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP CCC required)
- Prior experience supporting school-age populations preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team-based environment
- Commitment to fostering student progress and engagement
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments in accordance with IEP requirements
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to support student success
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary approach to education
