An onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support a K-12 school in New Castle, DE. This full-time contract position involves managing a K-12 caseload and providing direct therapy services, along with conducting assessments, writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and participating in IEP meetings. The role requires presence onsite and is available for immediate interviewing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and testing to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop, write, and implement IEPs tailored to student requirements
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams during IEP meetings
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Experience working within a K-12 school environment
- Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and paperwork efficiently
- Ability to work onsite full-time and adapt to the schools schedule and routines
