Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates also considered
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and evidence-based therapy interventions
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports as required by the school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students educational and communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development opportunities
- Utilize a variety of materials and technology to engage students in therapy sessions
