A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work within a school district setting in New Brunswick, NJ. This role offers a 32.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, supporting students from Early Childhood through 5th grade across two schools. The focus will be to cover overflow caseload needs, ensuring students receive timely, quality speech therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to pediatric students in a school environment
- Manage itinerant caseload across two assigned schools, providing direct and indirect support
- Collaborate with school staff and participate in team meetings as required
- Utilize the districts IEP system with provided training
- Maintain documentation and compliance with district protocols
- Follow established caseload models with a cap designed to optimize workload
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in pediatric and school-based speech therapy settings
- Ability to work within a structured school schedule and manage multiple sites
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to participate in training and administrative tasks as outlined
