This contract opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise in pediatric speech therapy within an educational setting, helping students unlock their full potential through personalized interventions and collaborative care.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school-based environments
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to partner with teachers, families, and school staff
- Organizational skills to manage diverse caseloads and meet documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving communication abilities
- Provide therapy in both individual and group settings as indicated by IEPs
- Monitor student progress, maintain thorough records, and adjust plans accordingly
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise to shape educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students overall success
