Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience with pediatric populations, ideally in a school setting
- Skilled in assessments, diagnostics, and creating individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability for working in varied school environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on assessments and IEPs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions, both individual and group, targeting a variety of communication needs
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide reports as required
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support each students educational goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight to support student success
- Offer consultation and guidance to school staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations
