Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Current SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school-based environments
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to partner with teachers, families, and school staff
  • Organizational skills to manage diverse caseloads and meet documentation requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving communication abilities
  • Provide therapy in both individual and group settings as indicated by IEPs
  • Monitor student progress, maintain thorough records, and adjust plans accordingly
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise to shape educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students overall success
