Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Connecticut SLP license with CCC
- Prior experience in a school setting, preferably with early elementary (K-2nd) students
- Demonstrated capability in supervising Clinical Fellows (CF) and SLP Assistants (SLPA)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Thorough understanding of IEP development and special education compliance
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to K-2nd grade students
- Administer assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Maintain meticulous records and progress reports for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Oversee and mentor a Clinical Fellow and SLPA, providing guidance and feedback
- Serve as an advocate for student communication needs within the school community
- Travel between assigned schools as needed to fulfill student service requirements
