Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to connect and work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable goals
• Deliver therapy services to students individually and in groups as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as required
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
