Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current SLP license in the state of Texas (or eligible)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows also considered
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly desirable
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students unique challenges
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, sessions, and student outcomes
  • Deliver services and interventions in group and individual settings as appropriate
  • Foster a positive, encouraging environment where students feel confident to grow
