Qualities and Experience Sought:

• Valid North Carolina SLP or SLPA license
• Current NC DPI Special Service Personnel School SLP Credential
• Eligible for SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA positions
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Passion for working with children and adolescents in educational environments
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services for students with speech, language, voice, fluency, or pragmatic communication needs
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals and IEPs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and parents to provide strategies and resources for student support
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation for student progress and compliance purposes
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional recommendations
• Provide guidance and training to support staff as appropriate
