Job Description

This contract opportunity spans the full 20262027 school year, offering dedicated onsite roles across various campuses near Nellis Air Force Base. Youll support students communication needs and collaborate with school-based teams in a rewarding, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
  • Active Nevada Department of Education (DOE) Certificate
  • Current Nevada SLP License
  • SLP-CFs considered, but strong preference given to ASHA CCC-holders
  • Full-time, onsite availability from 7/29/26 to 5/21/27 (no remote or hybrid options)
  • Flexibility to travel between assigned campuses as needed
  • Quick responsiveness for interview scheduling and onboarding
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech and language concerns
  • Document progress and maintain records in compliance with school district policies
  • Consult with teachers and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Adapt therapeutic approaches based on caseload, assignment, and age group, which may vary
