Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available in Nazareth, PA, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This onsite, contract position offers a consistent 35-hour workweek and extends from ASAP through the 2026-27 school year, with potential involvement in the Early Intervention calendar year-round.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessment and intervention services to K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student education planning
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal speech therapy regulations and guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certifications such as CCC-SLP or School SLP preferred
- Experience working in school settings with a diverse K-12 caseload
- Strong communication and collaboration skills tailored to educational environments
- Ability to adapt to changing student needs and academic schedules
