Key Requirements:

  • Active Florida SLP license is a must
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations and familiarity with school-based caseloads
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Dedication to fostering positive student outcomes

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students aged PreK-5th grade
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct therapy services and consultative support to meet diverse student needs
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Educate families and staff on strategies to support students communication goals
  • Participate in parent meetings, staff trainings, and professional development as needed
