Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with an active SLP credential is sought for a contract position serving elementary students in a school setting located in Navarre, FL. This role supports an approximate caseload of 45 students, offering direct therapy services to enhance communication skills within the academic environment. The contract term spans from August 12, 2026, through May 25, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language evaluations and therapy to elementary-aged students.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive student support.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to educational planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working in school-based settings is preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45 elementary students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff and families.
- Availability for prescreening interviews with scheduling flexibility between 911 a.m. and 23 p.m. EST.
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Navarre, FL, supporting schools in the surrounding Pensacola area.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with 7.5 hours per day dedicated to on-site student services.
