Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services to students within a dynamic school setting in Nashville, TN. This travel position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while experiencing the vibrant culture of Nashville.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Program) development.
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies to address communication disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language delays.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs effectively.
  • Willingness to travel and work within different schools during the assignment period.
