This short-term engagement is based at a single site with a highly flexible weekly commitment of just 23 hours, perfect for an experienced professional seeking a supplemental contract or a focused, manageable caseload.
What Youll Bring:
- Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Demonstrated fluency in Portuguese
- Experience conducting evaluations with preschool-aged children
- Familiarity with IEP systems (training provided if needed)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a school environment
- Fingerprinting and background check clearance as required
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive, culturally and linguistically appropriate speech-language evaluation for a PreK student
- Collaborate with the educational team using virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom
- Complete all required evaluation reports and IEP documentation
- Offer professional insight and recommendations for student supports
- Communicate regularly with district contacts and follow best practices for compliance
- Attend administrative meetings as needed (remote access provided)
