Elementary School Based Speech Language Pathologist

A school district in the Chicago, IL area is currently hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an elementary school caseload. The district is seeking a motivated professional to provide speech and language services to students in a supportive educational setting. Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
- Provide direct speech therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP License required
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Prior school or pediatric experience preferred
Position Details:
- Full-time contract position
- Elementary school caseload
- 37 hours per week
- Monday Friday schedule
