Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility as an SLP in Illinois
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in schools
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, therapy techniques, and IEP development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine individual needs
- Participate in the IEP process, including meetings, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, families, psychologists, and other support staff
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and ensure compliance with all regulations
