Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Illinois state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
  • Previous experience working within a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, family members, and multidisciplinary teams to support students needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, reports, and documentation
  • Offer consultation, resources, and training for school staff regarding speech and language issues
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and compliance with school and state requirements
